OLG is required to comply with regulations related to gaming in Ontario including the Registrar’s Standards for Gaming, developed, and regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Included in the standards is the requirement to confirm that our players are located in Ontario at the time of gaming. This is separate from confirming the residency or identity of our players.
