Partial bet allowance allows the possibility to partially approve bets. When a patron wants to place a wager that exceeds the pre-approved amount on a particular outcome, OLG can partially approve any amount above this pre-approved amount.

HOW DOES PARTIAL BET ALLOWANCE WORK?
When a player tries to place a bet and the Partial Bet Allowance function is triggered, the player will be given three options:

  1. Place pre-approved wager

  2. Place pre-approved wager and send the remaining for approval

  3. Send the entire wager for approval

Once a selection is made, the review process begins and the screen changes to an Awaiting Approval screen. Additionally, a “Wager is being referred” image appears.

If the bet is approved, a green checkmark will appear along with a message indicating the wager has been approved. Bets can be found in your bet history.
