1st 5 Innings 1st 5 Innings Markets are in respect of the first five innings of a baseball game, or 4 1/2 if the home team is winning. If the game does not last that long, Selections will be void unless there is a conclusive result in a Market. For example, if the Line on a 1st 5 Innings Over/Under Market is 0.5 and a run has already been scored, all wagers on that Market will stand regardless of how much the game has been played.
1st 7 Innings 1st 7 Innings Markets are in respect of the first seven innings of a baseball game, or 6 1/2 if the home team is winning. If the game does not last that long, Selections will be void unless there is a conclusive result in a Market. For example, if the Line on a 1st 7 Innings Over/Under Market is 0.5 and a run has already been scored, all wagers on that Market will stand regardless of how much the game has been played.
1X2 The 1X2 is an alternative naming convention for a Three-Way Result Market.
2-Way (Two Way) A Market in which there are two Outcomes to choose from when placing a wager.
3-Way(Three-Way) A Market in which there are three Outcomes to choose from when placing a wager. One of the Outcomes in a 3-Way market is often a draw or Point Spread draw. For example, in a Point Spread 3-way Market, if the Point Spread is -3.0 and the Favourite wins by exactly three points, the winning Selection will be the Point Spread draw.
Abandoned

An Event that has ended prematurely. See the PROLINE+ Game Conditions for related settlement rules. 

All-in Play or Not

All-in Play or Not is a Market condition that means Results on Selections will Stand regardless of Non-Starters and whether or not all possible Selections were offered.

Booking

In soccer, the term to indicate that a player has been given a yellow or red card by a referee. A soccer player is said to have been "booked" after receiving a yellow or red card.

Canadian

A Canadian is a System Bet that consists of 26 wagers on 5 Selections in 5 different Events (10 two-pick Parlays, 10 three-pick Parlays, 5 four-pick Parlays and 1 five-pick Parlay) Two or more Selections must be correct for a winning wager. A Canadian with a $1 Unit Wager Amount costs $26 ($1 x 26 wagers). For an example of the structure a System Bet, refer to the definition of Trixie.

Drive Outcome

For the football Market, Drive Outcome, results are based on offensive scores only. Drive Outcome Markets offer four options; touchdown, field goal, safety and no score. Defensive touchdowns, i.e. the ball is turned over by the defensive team and returned for a touchdown in the same play, will be settled as 'No Score.'
Each-Way An Each-Way wager will enter two wagers on your Selection. One wager to win the Event and a second wager for the same amount to come within the specified number of places (e.g. top 5). The odds of the place wager will be the specified fraction of the win odds for your Selection (e.g. 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, etc of the win Odds). For example, if you place a $5 Each-Way wager, a $5 'win' wager and a $5 'place' wager will be placed for a total wager amount of $10. If your Selection wins, both wagers will be paid out at the specified odds for each part. If your Selection does not win but does finish within the specified number of places, only the 'place' part of the wager will pay out.
Event Event means the specific match, game, competition, or special Event between two (2) or more participants on a scheduled start date.
Event Cut Off Time for Wagering The time assigned to an Event, by OLG in its sole discretion, after which no further wagering may occur with respect to that Event or Market.
Extra Play
Means additional innings, periods, overtime or such other Extra Play as the Corporation may specify in accordance with the rules and regulations of the league or body governing that Game, but does not include Shoot-Outs, if any;
Favourite

Means the Outcome within a Market that is the most likely to occur and has the lowest odds.

 

Full Time See Regulation Time
Line A value given to a Market for wagering purposes. This value could be a quote on the total points/goals/runs in an Over/Under Market or it could be the Point Spread given to a team in a Point Spread Market. 
Non-Starter Describes a Selected participant that does not take part in a Market, but the Event continues without that participant.  
Non-Starter No Wager A Settlement rule applied to Non-Starters where the Selection will be marked as Void.
Outcome Outcomes operate as specific betting predictions, as part of Markets, which are available for bettors to wager on. For example, these can be in the form of correct goal predictions, winning teams/players, number of points scored, etc. and will include a specific Odds associated to that result occurring. For Novelty Bets, an example could be wagering on whether or not it will snow on Christmas day in London.
Over The Outcome in which the total number of points, goals, runs, or any other unit of tallying the score of an Event is higher than the line offered by OLG in an Over/Under Market.
Overtime/Extra Time The additional innings, periods, Overtime or other such extra play as OLG may specify in accordance with the rules and regulations of the league or body governing that Event, but does not include Shoot-outs, if any.  
Own Goal An Own Goal occurs in goal-scoring games when a player scores a goal that is registered against his or her own team.
Payout The amount of money returned to the bettor from a winning wager. This amount is the sum of the winnings and the original wager.  For individual bets within a System Bet, the payout is the Unit Wager Amount plus the winnings, if applicable, from the individual bet. 
Periods The duration of a sporting Event may consist of any number, segment, or configuration of Periods.  
Pick See Selection.
Prop A Market offered on any of a variety of situations, circumstances or occurrences within an Event. A Market such as 'Which player will score the 1st goal in the game' is an example of a Prop.
Regulation Time
The period of play before any Overtime, Extra Time, or Shoot-outs, if any.
Selection The Outcome chosen from a Market and confirmed by the Player prior to placing a Wager.
Selection Slip Means a slip of paper or an electronic interface available through a mobile or web application used for the purpose of enabling the bettor’s Selection(s) in a sports lottery game, all as provided by the OLG.
Shoot-Out
Means a series of shots taken by each participating team to determine Results after Regulation Play and Extra Play, if any;
Stake The amount of your wager.
Team No Bet A Market where the bettor has the choice to select one of the teams in the match to win or for the match to end in a draw/tie. Should the unlisted team, which will be the team in the Market name, win, all wagers will be Void. For example, in a Liverpool v Chelsea match, there could be a Market named 'Liverpool No Bet.' The Outcomes from which a bettor can select in this case will be a Chelsea victory or a draw. Should Liverpool win the match, all bets on 'Liverpool No Bet' will be Void.
Team to Win Both Halves A Market offered for a team to win both the first half and the second half. For example, if the score in the Dallas at Buffalo game was 10-0 at half-time and the final score at the end of the game was 10-7, wagers on 'Dallas to win both halves' would not be a winner because Buffalo won the second half 0-7.
Three-Way Result Three-Way Result (also known as 'Match Result', '1X2') is a Market type which refers to the participant leading at the end of the designated Period or whether the participants are tied at the end of that Period.  
Total Wager Amount The Total Wager Amount is the aggregate amount of all wagers as reflected within a Betslip or Bet Receipt / ticket.
Touchdown Scorer Touchdown Scorer Markets are a category of Markets where Selections relate to which individual football player(s) will score a touchdown. Wagers on Touchdown-Scorer Markets are accepted on an 'All-In, Play or Not' basis, the exception to this being any wagers placed on "inactive/not active" players, which will be deemed Void. A player is considered "inactive/not active" if they are listed as such on the official match gamebook. Wagers on players who are active, but do not take the field will be settled as lost.
Under The Outcome in which the total number of points, goals, runs, or any other unit of tallying the score of an Event is lower than the line offered by OLG in an Over/Under Market.
 
Unit Wager Amount The unit wager is the monetary amount per wager in a System Bet. 
Void Selection A resulting term used when the Selection neither wins nor loses. The Odds on a Voided Selection will be changed to 1.00.  If a Voided Selection is part of a Parlay, the number of Selections in the Parlay will be reduced by one. If the Voided Selection is a Single bet, the wager amount will be refunded to the bettor.
Walkover A walkover is when a contestant is awarded victory because their opponent failed to start the match for any reason, such as injury. In the event of a walkover, all pre-match wagers will be void. For example in tennis, a player may advance to the next round by a walkover if their opponent does not take the court.
