A bet resettlement occurs when a bet has been settled incorrectly and a correction must be made to properly settle the bet.
For example, if the first goal in a hockey game was scored by Player A but after the game ends the official results change and Player B is the player that scored the first goal, any bets that had wager on Player A scoring first would be resettled as an incorrect bet and anyone who bet on Player B scoring first would have their bet resettled as a winning bet.
